What we make

From hand-finished letters to lit fascia and full vehicle wraps.

Signage isn't one product — it's a hundred decisions about material, scale, light, weather and the building it sits on. We make all of it under one roof.

Recent work

A few we're proud of.

A bar that wanted to be seen from the next street. A property firm that wanted brass. A boat that needed wrapping in the rain. We met them all.

Family run

Family run, one workshop.

Sun Signs has been making signs since 1984 — from a small workshop, by people who care whether the corners are square and the paint is mixed properly.

We still answer the phone ourselves. We still come out and measure the wall. And we still finish every letter by hand before it leaves us.

How it works

A simple, four-step process.

No nonsense. No surprises. We talk it through, draw it up, build it, and fit it.

01

Site visit

We come and see the building, take measurements and listen to what you want.

02

Design & quote

You get a visual, a clear price, and a straightforward timeline.

03

Fabrication

Built in our Cumbria workshop using the right materials for the job.

04

Installation

Our own team fits it. Properly. We don't sub it out.
