Royal Oak Pub Sign
We were asked to revamp a very tired looking pub sign for the Royal Oak in Windermere. At first glance this task looked almost impossible as weather and time had certainly taken its toll.
The brief was to restore the image digitally but to keep the original look and feel of an oil painting. Not an easy task and the sign was virtually invisible under decades of build up but after carefully photographing it in situ, and slowly working on the image in Photoshop, we were able to reveal it's former glory once again.
